Sophia Singerland

Sophia Singerland is a civil engineer that has created a portable, waterless, off the grid (for water, sewage, and electricity) ecological toilet. With this invention she was selected for accelerate2030, a UN driven innovation competition and made it into the global final round. The toilets are made with renewable or 100% recycled materials. 2021 she developed them further, to be installed inside of any kind of building; optional with vacuum systems, but all for the inside building usage, to respond onto the UN 50LHome program. Today SHINE serves local governments and corporates in China and India to reduce water usage and CO2emissions and to target ESG. www.shinegreentech.cn

Tony Wong

Tony Wong is a prominent ESG expert based in Hong Kong and the founder of Alaya Consulting, an ESG specialist firm he established in 2014 to help corporations improve their sustainability disclosure. He holds the distinguished credential of being a GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Nominated Trainer, certified to deliver training on the world’s most widely used sustainability reporting standards. Tony has been instrumental in promoting industry best practices, including founding the Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards.

With nearly two decades of experience, he also holds qualifications as a carbon audit professional and is pursuing an Executive MBA. Through his work, he plays a key role in advancing global sustainability standards across the Asia-Pacific region.

Susan operates Huasheng Consulting Studio independently, focusing on Sustainability/ESG/EHS project support and capacity building.

With nearly 30 years Sustainability and EHS leadership and hands-on experience in Fortune Global 500 multinational corporations (Bosch and Intel).Previously she led Sustainability and EHS in MNC across China, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, with responsibility of strategy, technical standards, capability building, audits and reporting. She did research projects and reports on renewable energy adoption, circular economy and closed-loop materials, supplier green transformation and Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions reduction strategy. Currently she also serves as a part-time Principal Consultant at an ESG/EHS consulting firm, as well the Vice Chair of the CSR Forum at the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China.
